Our little Puppy

When Branson did this the other morning, I just had to get the camera. Seriously though, the doggy bowl couldn't have been cleaner so I think he will be okay!! SO CUTE!!!

18 months and counting- BIG GUY!!

WOW! Time really goes by so quickly and it seems like only yesterday we were getting excited to have Branson and now he is pretty much a TODDLER, with a little brother/sister of his own on the way! Sometimes I can't believe he is really running all over the place, babbling up a storm. We really continue to fall more and more in love with him as his personality comes out. He is a fun little boy and would never pass up the chance to run around with us playing "Monster." He loves to giggle and we can just start laughing at nothing to get him going too. One of our new favorite things to do with him is sing songs with him on the couch or in his room before bedtime and say our prayers. He loves giving HUGS and KISSES, but likes to push Mommy and Daddy together for smooches even more! He has such a sweet heart and gentleness to Him. I could just go on and on..... He is saying more everyday, even though the "average" person might not understand him :). WE DO! Here are some of our FAVORITE "WORDS":

OK, well he has lots of other little words, many that are actually understandable, like asking for more, saying lots of NO's, asking for Help or Up, or letting us know when he is stuck... "I STUCK."
He's learning and growing everyday. He is our little CHUNK! He is back in the 90th percentile for size, weighing in at about 29 pounds. I dont know where he gets it. I keep thinking he is going to slow down, but so far he is maintianing his title as that "Big Kid" but atleast he's got a BIG HEART to go along with it! We couldnt love him more...

So today Christopher and I had what would have been our "Gender" ultrasound but for whatever reason we have decided to wait and be surprised. I go back and forth on thinking that was a great idea, but we have settled on the fact that we arent finding out, so now its just a waiting game. Here is a little video, looks like a baby to me! :)

Easter 2009

For easter this year we had our families over to our house. Even my mom was in town, so we had quite a few people hanging out. It was a gorgeous day out so we spenta lot of time playing in the backyard. I love having everyone over and hope to do it more!

Pregnancy- 16 weeks!

Rachel, my sister-in-law, and I are both due in Septemeber, only 5 days apart. She is due on the 13th and I am due the 18th. Here is a picture of our belly's at 16 weeks. They are still pretty little at this point, but I know from past experience that it won't be long and I will be HUGE! I am really enjoying this pregnancy so far, but I know it will eventually get hot and uncomfortable. For now, things are going great!

Hudsons 1st Birthday

Bransons friend Hudson (and our good friends Casey and Katelyn Blocks little guy) celebrated his 1st birthday! Katelyn had a cute "Old Fashioned" theme birthday party in their backyard complete with hot dogs, burgers, and ice cream sundae's. It was fun to hang out with a bunch of friends and watch our kids all running around together. Happy Birthday Hudson!!

Baby Number 2 is on its way!

Christopher and I are so excited to be expecting our next little bundle in Septemeber. We officially found out on January 2nd, but it was a confusing start, so we have waited quite awhile to make the announcement official. At this point though, everything is looking healthy and the baby is due to arrive the 18th. If this one is anything like Branson though, it might be more like October or November :). Surprise Visit

In March my Sister and the whole family had a special surprise visit to Arizona! WooHoo! The team her husband coaches for, Purdue, made it to the SWEET 16 which led them to play in Glendale Arizona. We got to spend almost an entire week together! I just love my sister and my niece and nephew, maddie and jack. We dont get to see eachother very often, so it was so much fun to get this time together. It just happened to be over our Dads birthday too, so it was even that much more perfect! Hopefully I will get to see them again soon....

Jake turns 3- Railroad Park Fun!

Our wonderful friends, Pam and Ron, just celebrated their childs 3rd birthday with a trip to the McCormick Ranch Railroad Park. It was perfect weather and was the official beginning to Bransons CHOO CHOO TRAIN obsession. I cant believe Jake is already 3!?! It seems like just yesterday Pam told me she was pregnant- wow the time goes so quickly! Now Pam and Ron are expecting their 2nd baby- a girl- in July! I cant wait to have a little girl around to love on, she is going to be so adorable....

A weekend AWAY!

At the end of February Chris and I spent a weekend at Lost Canyon for YL Committee. It was a relaxing and refreshing weekend away. It was nice to have some alone time, and be surrounded by some amazing and encouraging people. Such a blessing!

Baby Luke

On February 10th, our great friends Sarah and Jeremy welcomed their first baby- Luke! He is so precious with the cutest little head of hair. A little chub! We got to go see them in the hospital and all were doing well. Congratulations!!

Valentines Day

For Valentines Day Branson and I made some cute little crafts as gifts and as a way to do something fun together. He was a little young for the paint and kept trying to eat it! I think he'll survive!

Gary and Rachel are Having a Baby

Gary and Rachel, Christopher's brother and his wife, are expecting their first child. We actually found out a couple weeks before they told everyone else, but here are a few pictures from them telling their parents. They gave Christophers mom a present with a picture of both her grandchildren and an ultrasound of their baby. She didnt get it for atleast a couple minutes... we had to lead her on....
