Colorado for Hoppers Wedding!!

One of our good friends, Annie Hopper was married to Matthew Skidmore in Beautiful Boulder Colorado. We spent the weekend enjoying the cool weather and hanging out with a few friends from Arizona. There are so many wonderful sights in Colorado, especially the flowing streams and waterfalls right off the side of the roads! We were in awe of the Beauty all around!! Annie's Wedding was also very beautiful and special. It is so nice to go to a wedding and be reminded of the love and commitment of a marriage. It was so obvious that Matt and Annie were made for eachother!! We had a chance to celebrate Christophers' 25th birthday while we were in Colorado by going to a local Pub and hanging out in the college town. The only thing Chris didn't get to do for his birthday was go to the Coors Brewery, but he already has a "guys" trip in the works...

Vacation in Mexico!

Chris and I spent a long weekend in Mexico with our friends the Lundbergs and Blocks! We had a great time relaxing, and eating lots of Taco's and Mango's!!! We had a cute little condo right on the beach so we spent most of our time out in the sun and playing in the water. Most of us managed to get sunburned the first day, and I mean really sunburned!! Out on the beach there were plenty of vendors selling taco's and quesadilla's, but for some reason chris lundberg was hungry enought to catch a fish in the water, chew it up, and swallow it...? But then we did bribe him with some cold mexican beer... At night we went out to the local shops and enjoyed some of mexico's finest restaurants and icecream! We hope to do a trip with our friends every year, but soon there will be little ones to tote around, so we will just have to wait and see what happens.....

We're having a BOY!

On May 14th, Christopher and I celebrated 3 years of marriage and received a very exciting present... We found out we are having a BABY BOY!! Even though I was convinced I was having a girl, we couldn't be happier to start our family with a little boy. We took the whole day off and went shopping for everything blue! We had a great time, but we didn't end up buying too much. We learned quickly that having a baby is going to be expensive because there are so many adorable things to buy! After our ultrasound, we had another routine check-up, where our doctor let us know that the baby looked healthy and the due date was still set for October 13th. I am almost 19 weeks pregnant which means only 21 weeks to go... I am finally starting to show just a little and I can't wait until I have a big belly! Its going to be a long hot summer, but the reward is definitely worth it. We will keep busy doing the Nursery and getting our lives ready for the new addition... We will try to keep this updated with lots of pictures and baby news!!

Annick has her BABY GIRL!

After a long night and morning in the hospital, Christophers' sister Annick gave birth to a BEAUTIFUL baby girl, Taylor Hope Gilbert. The day was filled with excitement as the family waited in anicipation to celebrate the new addition. Everything went very well in the hospital and both Mommy and Baby are home now and doing great. Taylor is the most adorable baby girl we have ever seen and holding her in your arms is the best feeling in this World! When the family gets together, its a race to see who gets to hold her first! Chris and I can hardly wait until we get to hold our own little miracle, but we are thankful Annick is doing it first so she can answer all of our questions!
