Family BBQ

Yesterday, Christopher and I went over to his Aunt Kathleen and Uncle Dennis' house for an afternoon BBQ. It was Baby Taylors first time in the pool, so we took lots of pictures. We spent the afternoon eating, swimmimg, and hanging out with the family. I even got in the pool for a little volleyball, but I don't move so quickly these days....

Annicks 23rd Birthday

For Annick's 23rd birthday (Christopher's Sister), the family went out for a nice dinner at Buca Di Beppo. We had a fabulous time and stuffed ourselves with all the yummy food. I think they had leftovers for a week! After dinner, we walked accross the street to the restaurant where my dad works and spent a little time with my him too.

My 25th Birthday

For my 25th Birthday, I went to dinner with some friends at a local mexican restarant (My favorite pregnancy craving). The night before, Christophers family came over for dinner, and we had a little pre-celebration cake too! His Aunts were in town, so it was fun to see everyone and get to have them over to our house. I had a wonderful birthday, even though everyone kept commenting on the fact that I am halfway to 50!

San Diego/ LA Trip!

Last weekend Christopher and I took what may be our last little get away before the baby arrives. We drove up to Sea World in San Diego and then headed to LA the next day. Our friends Sarah, Jeremy, and Spencer met up with us at Sea World and we had a great time. Even though we were only there for a half day, we saw all the shows we wanted to, thanks to Spencer's Rigorous scheduling :) That night we drove over to LA and spent the night with our great friend Noah. He surprised me the next morning with a special guest, Chase Thompson! We went to breakfast and met up with Kevin Ganser, who was also in town, and had a little mini Highschool reunion! We spent the rest of the day relazing on the beach and chowing down at a local Sushi restaurant. It was so good to see everyone, and it was a great way to spend a weekend away from the heat!

3D/4D Ultrasound

A Couple weeks ago Christopher and I did a 3D/4D ultrasound of little baby boy Liles. It is so amazing that they have this kind of technology now! I think he looks pretty cute, but most importantly they said everything looked healthy and right on target for where I am. (Only 8 more weeks to go!!)

PUPPIES!!!

We had a new temporary addition to the family on July 22d. FIVE beautiful little puppies! They are four weeks old now and running all over the place! Now that they have some personality, its easy to see we are quickly getting attached and it will get harder and harder to let them go! There are 4 girls and 1 big boy. They are so sweet and christopher and I both love cuddling with them!

In this picture, the puppies are about 1 week old.

This little guy was just learning how to walk at about 2 weeks old.

The mom looks miserable nursing... the puppies are getting some very sharp teeth!

Are you kidding? How cute are these little girls??

Last night the puppies turned 4 weeks old and they were all sleeping on Christopher. He is getting a little attached himself!

Our Baby's Room

Last month we spent the weekend bulding, painting, and putting together our little bundle's room! We still have some decorating to do, but it is already pretty full of clothes and baby books! The theme in the room is fishies, which is very fitting for us! We already have all of our bedding, a beautiful rug, and some matching accessories thanks to my sister and dad! I guess all we really need now is the baby!!! We cant wait. Just a couple more months to go...

Christopher's Family Gets a Cabin!!

Christopher's parents bought a new cabin this summer, something they have wanted to do for a long time. It is a beautiful home on the mountainside of Prescott, Arizona. It's surrounded by thick woods and streams, with many lakes and activities nearby. The cool weather up there is a nice break from the heat of phoenix and we are so excited for all of the memories that will be made there!
